Stay
About the destination: At the heart of the South, Toulouse has always occupied a prominent place in the Southwest of France. The reflections of golden light on the pink-brick walls, used in many of its buildings, have earned the city the designation of 'La Ville Rose', the Pink City. As the region’s largest city, Toulouse combines medieval architecture with bohemian music, delicious food and constant innovation, sustained by the city’s cutting-edge aerospace industry. The old town of Toulouse hides great treasures. The Basilica of St. Sernin is considered the city’s most beautiful religious monument. It is also the world’s largest church built in the Romanesque style. Feel free to wander through its cobbled streets to discover its splendid Renaissance courtyards and magnificent houses that hide behind the heavy gates. The Augustinian Museum exhibits a rich collection of paintings and sculptures. Here you will find works of either medieval masters or contemporary artists and painters. Toulouse is active and bustling, fuelled by the energy of its student population. There’s nothing like strolling through the historical center, walking along the banks of the Garonne and the Canal du Midi, or stopping in one of the many bars and restaurants to eat or have a drink under the open sky.

About the destination: Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra, is a sovereign landlocked microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south. Believed to have been created by Charlemagne, Andorra was ruled by the count of Urgell until 988, when it was transferred to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urgell. The present principality was formed by a charter in 1278. It is headed by two co-princes: the bishop of Urgell in Catalonia, Spain and the president of France. Its capital and largest city is Andorra la Vella. Andorra is famous for the practice of winter sports. Andorra has the largest territory of ski slopes in the Pyrenees (3100 hectares and about 350 km of slopes) and two ski resorts. Grandvalira is the largest and most popular resort. Other popular sports played in Andorra include football, rugby union, basketball, and roller hockey. Andorra is home to folk dances like the contrapàs and marratxa, which survive in Sant Julià de Lòria especially. Andorran folk music has similarities to the music of its neighbours, but is especially Catalan in character, especially in the presence of dances such as the sardana. Other Andorran folk dances include contrapàs in Andorra la Vella and Saint Anne's dance in Escaldes-Engordany. Andorra's national holiday is Our Lady of Meritxell Day, 8 September.
